Professor Xiao Chunyan of our academy participated in the Symposium on ideology, culture and history in social development and shared the academic achievements


(Correspondent: Shu Jianping)On November 16th, 2019, an academic seminar on ideology, culture and history in social development was successfully held in Jinnan campus of Nankai University.The seminar was organized by the Department of Sociology, Zhou Enlai school of government administration of nankai university. It was the first academic event jointly organized by the three committees of Chinese social history, cultural sociology and historical sociology.

More than 60 experts and scholars from Peking University, Fudan University, Nanjing University and Wuhan University shared, exchanged and discussed over 10 topics in the three fields of Chinese social thought, culture and history. Xiao Chunyan participated in the sub-forum on traditional culture and social development, and made a keynote speech on the path selection of traditional thought interpretation paradigm from the meaning evolution of teacher, analyzed the evolution of the meaning of teacher in traditional society, teased out four interpretation of the t, and pointed that contemporary problemsshould be whatteacher meaning, was well received by the participating experts and scholars.

In the meantime, Xiao Chunyan and Zhao Ju also submitted to the conferencea paper entitled Research on the mode of community rehabilitation service for mental disorders from the perspective of social support system.
