On May 31, 2022, the First Dragon Boat Race of Sifang Optoelectronics Co., Ltd. hosted by our school was successfully held in the Water Sports Center of HBUE. Leaders of the company and the school, teachers and students of the Department of Leisure Sports jointly participated in this activity.

Before the start of the competition, Mr. Xiong Youhui, chairman and general manager of Sifang Optoelectronics Co., Ltd., delivered a speech for the competition. The school leaders put the finishing touches on the dragon boat together with Mr. Liu Zhiqiang, Executive Vice President .

With the sound of the siren, the three dragons in the first round of the competition came from the west to the east. The drummers beat the drums vigorously. The oarsmen waved their arms and oars. The audience on the shore waved colorful dragon flags. The cries kept rising, pushing the competition to a climax one at a time.

The Dragon Boat Race is an important achievement of the cooperation between our school and Sifang Optoelectronics, and an important attempt to further carry out multi-level, multi form and multi field cooperation between the school and enterprises. While carrying forward the excellent traditions of the Chinese nation and excavating and inheriting the cultural connotation of the Dragon Boat Festival, it also responded to the call of the state to strengthen cooperation between schools and enterprises, and gave full play to the important functions of universities in serving society and enterprises.
