On the afternoon of December 22nd, the New Year Celebration for foreign teachers and international students who work and study in Hubei University of Economics. CPC Standing Committee member Zhang Yilin，leaders and faculties from International Exchange& Cooperation Department, Communist Youth League, School of International Education, School of Foreign Languages, School of Business Administration, School of Tourism and all the foreign teachers and international students attended the celebration.
CPC Standing Committee member Zhang Yilin delivered the opening speech. In the speech, he expressed gratitude to all the teachers for their hard work. Also, Zhang encouraged international students to put more efforts in learning and taking part in activities, and wish them a happy and fulfilling campus life.
The Celebration Performance began with the song Wu Han by HBUE Students’ Guitar Association. International students’ African dance received great waves of warm applause. Chinese twister game joined by foreign teachers and international students led the celebration up to a climax. The international students also performed songs and dances with Chinese national characteristics. The New Year Celebration came to a successful end with the song Friendship Forever by all the teachers and students together.
2017 New Year Celebration for foreign teachers and international students enhanced the enthusiasm of learning Chinese language and Chinese traditional culture. Also, it provided a good opportunity of the students from all over the world for a better communication and reinforced the friendship among them.
