Our students won the 4th division of the GBC business elite international challenge in 2008

On May 27th, the final of the 4th division of the 2018GBC business elite international challenge (central China division and southwest division), hosted by CIMA, undertaken by the school of accounting and co-organized by the accounting association of the university, was held in our school.

Liu dahong, deputy secretary of the party committee of the university, and ji yuhua, director of education development in north Asia region of CIMA, delivered speeches respectively.

Senior executives from anheuser inbev investment (China) co., LTD., exxonmobil (China) investment co., LTD., citic telecom (Shanghai) technology co., LTD., anted enterprise management consulting (Shanghai) co., LTD., wuhan ALPHA LAND park and other 7 companies served as judges.

The competition lasted for nearly two months, and 24 teams from 11 universities including swufe, huazhong university of science and technology, sichuan foreign studies university, chongqing university of science and technology, chongqing jiaotong university, henan university of economics and law and our university were selected to participate in the competition after the review of the first round of case analysis reports.

Through the five links of talent show, video show, PPT presentation, mutual questions and questions from judges, the competition comprehensively demonstrates the performance ability, team spirit, professional level and comprehensive quality of the participants, such as analyzing and solving problems.

The team will represent the fourth division in the GBC north Asia division finals in Beijing in September and will compete with teams from South Korea, Japan, the Philippines, Malaysia, Mongolia, Hong Kong, Taiwan and other countries and regions.

The business elite international challenge is an international competition launched by the royal institute of chartered management accountants (CIMA). It aims to discover and cultivate outstanding business characteristics of college students, integrate their knowledge, expand their competitiveness in the workplace, and find more business leaders who can lead the development of society in the future.

Since the event was held in 2009, it has attracted extensive participation and attention from universities from many countries and regions, including China, the United Kingdom, Russia, Australia, Sri Lanka, India, the Philippines, Malaysia, Pakistan, Poland, Singapore, Vietnam, Bangladesh, South Africa, Ghana and the united Arab emirates.
