Our students won the third prize in the 8th national tax law knowledge competition

 

On September 16, the final of the eighth National Tax Law Knowledge Contest were held in Beijing. Students team from School of Finance and Public Administration, Wang Min, Wu Huali, Chen Meng and Huang Kai won the third prize of the university group and their instructors were Lin Ying and Yu Ping.

The competition was directed by General Office,Tax Publicity Center, Tax Payment Service Department, Tax Collection and Management Administration and Science and Technology Development Department of of State Administration of Taxation, and hosted by: the China Certified Tax Agents Association and Concentric Service Group of THE China Certified Tax Agents Association. The event has been held for eight consecutive sessions since 2011 and has attracted nearly 500,000 participants. More than 110,000 people participated in the competition this year, of which 20.1 percent were cadres of tax authorities, 22.9 percent were financial and tax personnel of enterprises, 39.3 percent were students of colleges and universities, and 17.7 percent were personnel of professional tax-related service institutions such as tax affairs offices. Three teams, including Zhongnan University of Economics and Law, Hubei University of Economics and Wuhan Tax Bureau represented Hubei province in the national finals.
