SIE Successfully Hold the Chinese Bakery Activity of Three Universities


In the afternoon of May 19th, 2017, the international students from Hubei University of Economics, Zhongnan University of Economics and Law and Wuhan University of Technology gathered to hold a special activity about Chinese bakery in the Cookery Experiment Center. He Huigangthe Vice-President of HBUE, attended the activity. Fei Chuntao, secretary of the party committee of SIE, HBUE, the stuffs of SIE and students representatives from culinary major of HBUE, and international students representatives from Zhongnan University of Economics and Law and Wuhan University of Technology took part in the activity. Wang Hong, the Dean of SIE, HBUE hosted the activity.

Firstly, Wang Hong made a brief introduction about HBUE. He Huigang made a speech to extend the warm welcome and heartfelt thanks to all the teachers and students. He hoped that through this activity and deepen communication and exchange between universities, and the friendship will be enhanced as well.Next, Xia Baoguo, the Vice-Director of Cookery Experiment Center, HBUE, introduced the basic situation about the center and sent out the Chinese cooking CDs of bilingual editions.

After the ceremony, the activity went into the cooking exercises. Gao Qiong, Chinese culinary master, the chairman of the judges of the grape festival, Aquitaine, France, demonstrated the production process of nougat and dumplings. Under the guidance of Miss Gao, the international students and representatives from culinary major of HBUE made the food together, and tasted them right there.

At last, all the international students visited the relevant laboratories of the Cookery Experiment Center, HBUE, and tasted Chinese tea and wine. This activity promoted the Chinese Culture, which not only enriched students’ leisure time, but also enhanced the friendship of the universities.
