On the afternoon of December 22nd, the New Year Celebration for foreign teachers and students who work and study in Hubei University of Economics. Standing Committee of CPC member Zhang Yilin，International Exchange& Cooperation Department, Communist Youth League，the related teachers from School of International Education, School of Foreign Languages, School of Business Administration, School of Tourism and all the international students attended the celebration.
Standing Committee of CPC member Zhang Yiling gave the opening speech. In the speech, he expressed gratitude to all the teachers for their hard work. Also, Committee Zhang encouraged international students of more efforts in learning and taking part in activities, and wish them a happy and fulfilling campus life.
The Celebration Performance began with the song Wu Han by HBUE Students’ Guitar Association. International students’ African dance got waves of warm applause. The foreign teachers joined the Chinese twister game and pushed the celebration into a climax. The international students also performed Chinese national characteristic song with dance. The New Year Celebration came to a successful end with the song Friendship Forever by all the teachers and students together.
2017 New Year Celebration for foreign teachers and international students enhanced the enthusiasm of learning Chinese language and Chinese traditional culture. Also, it provided a good opportunity of the students from all over the world for a better communication and reinforced the friendship among them.
