The First "Hidden Dragon Cup" Writing Competition Held by the College of Journalism and Communication

    On December 3, the First Hidden Dragon CupWriting Competition award ceremony in our school was held in the report hall of No.5 Teaching Building. Leaders of the school's Academic Affairs Office, the School of Journalism and Communication and teachers of the Chinese Department attended the event.

 

    The competition is sponsored by the Academic Affairs Office and the School of Journalism and Communication, and hosted by the Chinese Department and the Shallow Water Literature Society. The theme of the competition was "Anti-epidemic and Reflection" and more than 500 entries were received. After two rounds of selection, 6 first prize winners, 14 second prize winners and 17 third prize winners were selected.

 

    Professor Tao Qiangong, Director of the Academic Affairs Office, pointed out in his speech that the competition had achieved the basic goals of "inheriting Chinese civilization, promoting cultural confidence", "celebrating the anti-epidemic spirit" and "guiding students to master solid basic Chinese skills" he encouraged everyone to make persistent efforts and achieve new results.

 

    Professor Peng Shuxiong, vice-president of the School of Journalism and Communication, presented calligraphy inscriptions for the competition. He hoped that more students would love writing through the writing competition, produce more excellent works and further enliven the literary atmosphere of the school.
