Professor Zhang Gong Gave a Lecture on "Aspect of First-class Curriculum"

     In order to promote mutual learning among teachers and continuously improve the quality of classroom education and teaching, on June 3, 2021, Professor Zhang Gong of our school gave a lecture on the topic of Aspect of First-Class Curriculum. All teachers of the school participated in this lecture.

     First of all, for university education, the information age requires us to change, requiring us to make corresponding adjustments to the educational concepts, teaching content, teaching methods, and management methods we have been familiar with in the past. It is necessary to reform the cramming indoctrination with teachers as the protagonist, and innovate student-centered heuristic teaching; reform the textbook propaganda with teaching materials as the main body, and innovate speculative enlightenment with analysis as the main line.

     Based on the judge experience of many competitions, Professor Zhang Gong discussed how to construct first-class university classrooms from three aspects. First of all, teaching design should reflect the connotations of teaching. Second, classroom teaching should pay attention to the scientific nature of the content, the extended academic nature, the logic of narration, the rigor of expression, the standardization of teaching and the comprehensiveness of quality. Finally, in the teaching reflection part, we must praise our own strengths, reveal our own shortcomings. Strengths should be maintained, and methods should be improved for shortcomings and the content should be revised.

     The launch of this lecture is one of the measures taken by our school to improve the effectiveness of undergraduate classroom teaching based on the teaching competition of young teachers and the training of teachers' teaching ability improvement. Through the teaching of Professor Zhang Gong, the teaching ability and professional level of young teachers are further improved.
