On September 8th, 2022, the National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC) announced the evaluation results of the 2022 NSFC application projects. A total of 3 projects of the Hubei University of Economics were approved and supported. Among them, the project “A Study on the Process, Mechanism and Effect of Social Construction of Nature in National Parks in China: the Case of Shennongjia” by Dr. Wang Xiaoqian, a young teacher at Hubei University of Economics, was approved as a “Science Foundation Project for Youth.”
In recent years, our school has attached great importance to the organization and application of National Natural Science Foundation Projects, centralized and integrated the school’s strength, and constantly increased all-round support to assist and serve the faculty in application mobilization, unique guidance for fund application, expert pre-examination, formal examination, and other links. The approval of Dr. Wang Xiaoqian’s NSFC project has not only enriched our research results that direct the national park system and mechanism’s innovation but also actively propelled the discipline construction, talent training, the quality of scientific research, and the academic level of our school.
