Ten Student Teams from the School of Tourism and Hospitality Management Won Awards in the National College Business Elite Challenge

From November 18 to 21, the national Finals of the 2021 National College Business Elite Challenge Exhibition Innovation and Entrepreneurship Practice Competition were successfully held online. The finals attracted 487 teams (455 for students and 32 for teachers) from 166 colleges and universities from 28 provinces, municipalities and autonomous regions, with more than 2,800 players and tutors participating. After online case review, video evaluation and other evaluations, the team of teachers from the School of Tourism and Hospitality  Management won the first prize in the teacher lecture competition,  the student teams won 2 national first prizes, 6 national second prizes and 2 National third prizes, and Hubei University of Economics won the Best Institutional Organization Award. 


The National College Business Elite Challenge Exhibition Innovation and Entrepreneurship Practice Competition is co-sponsored by the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade Business Industry Committee, China Chamber of International Commerce Chamber of Commerce, China Business Economics Association and China Conference and Exhibition Economic Research Association. After more than ten years development, it has become an international event with the widely covered colleges and universities, the deep cooperation between universities and enterprises. It has also formed an innovative practice platform integrating discipline competition, industry-university cooperation and international exchange. In 2021, the National College Business Elite Challenge Exhibition Innovation and Entrepreneurship Practice Competition was included in the Ranking List of National College Student Competition by the Ministry of Education, and officially promoted to a national level event, reflecting the education system's high recognition of the promotion role of exhibition competition in discipline construction and the integration of industry and education.
