Bridging Emotions Through Flowers - Floral Art Salon in the School of Tourism and Hotel Management

In celebration of International Women's Day, the trade union of the School of Tourism and Hotel Management organized a floral art salon event to promote the emotional exchange among female staff and enhance their quality of life. The event received a warm welcome and enthusiastic response from the female staff.

On March 8th, the trade union of the School of Tourism and Hotel Management invited Wuhan Tianle Garden Co., Ltd. to conduct a floral art salon event at the School, which all female staff members attended. The event consisted of three segments: a lecture on floral art knowledge, on-site flower arrangement training, and a showcase of floral art creations. During the lecture on floral art knowledge, floral artist Kang Li introduced flower care tips through Q&A sessions and showcased various floral art styles through visual presentations. The female staff members actively participated in the Q&A session, creating a lively atmosphere. In the on-site flower arrangement segment, Kang Li provided hands-on guidance on flower arrangement techniques, and the female staff members enthusiastically created unique and elegant handheld flower bouquets, resulting in a fruitful experience. In the showcase segment, everyone presented their floral art creations, exchanged flower arrangement experiences, and took photos to mark the event. The laughter lingered in the atrium of the Qunxian Building.

Before the start of the floral art salon event, Dean Yan Mao delivered an enthusiastic speech. The event also included an afternoon tea session, where flowers served as a medium for emotional communication among female staff members, fostering more profound understanding and establishing sincere friendships.
