From November 8th to 10th, 2024, the 7th National Experimental Teaching Case Competition for Economics and Management in Colleges and Universities, hosted by the Economics and Management Discipline Group of the National Experimental Teaching Demonstration Center for Colleges and Universities and organized by the School of Economics of Nankai University, was held in Tianjin. The experimental case titled Tax Planning for Tax and Fee Reductions in High-tech Enterprises, guided by two teachers from our school, Li Xin and Xu Yang, qualified for the finals. Teacher Li Xin and Wei Yaxuan, a student representative from Finance Test Class 2241, participated in the competition on site.

The purpose of this experimental teaching case competition is to address the demand for talent cultivation in economics and management disciplines in the digital age, promote the organic integration of new technologies such as artificial intelligence and big data with economics and management education, enhance students' comprehensive abilities to adapt to the requirements of the digital age, and drive reform and innovation in talent cultivation models. Experimental teaching and case competitions are important ways for colleges and universities to improve the quality of talent cultivation, effectively exercising and enhancing students' practical abilities and abilities to analyze and solve practical problems.

Our faculty and students won the third prize in the national student category of this competition.
