On May 27th, a delegation of four teachers from the School of Finance and Public Administration, Hubei University of Economics, including Ren Li, Deputy Director of the School, and young teacher representatives Yan Ni, Tu Li, and Shen Jie, visited the School of Public Administration, Jilin University of Finance and Economics, to conduct in-depth research on the construction of the geriatric care and management major.

Participating in the symposium were Li Junsheng, Secretary of the Party Committee of the School of Public Administration, Jilin University of Finance and Economics; Cai Xiangdong, Dean; Jiang Fuqi, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee; Wu Deshuai and Zhao Dateng, Deputy Deans; Li Xue, Director of the Geriatric Care and Management Department; and young teachers Wang Luhang, Wu Zhengyang, and Jin Jingzhen. During the meeting, Dean Cai Xiangdong provided a detailed introduction to the discipline construction history and current development status of the geriatric care and management major. Director Li Xue further interpreted the talent training program, training objectives, curriculum design, teaching plans, and training mode of the major. Teachers from our school engaged in lively discussions with their counterparts from Jilin University of Finance and Economics on issues related to the geriatric care and management major, including curriculum design, practical teaching, and faculty development, and humbly sought advice on their valuable experience in major construction.

This research visit not only helped our teachers understand the latest developments and trends in the geriatric care and management major but also provided new ideas and directions for the reform and development of related majors in our school.
