[assessment news] Department conducts undergraduate teaching work review

 

In order to welcome the coming undergraduate teaching quality assessment work of our university, the mobilization meeting of undergraduate teaching quality assessment of our school was held in the library lecture hall at 6:30 p.m. on June 3. Dean of our school, professor Cai Hongying, party secretary of Party Committee Huang Hua, deputy party secretary of Party Committee Li Yong, freshmen, sophomores and juniors as well as relevant teachers attended the mobilization meeting.

Dean Cai delivered an important speech at the meeting. Firstly, she introduced what is the undergraduate teaching quality assessment to all the students, and stressed that this undergraduate assessment is related to the future development of our school. Then, Dean Cai introduced the basic situation of our school from aspects of faculty, discipline construction, employment rate of graduates and Unified National Graduate Entrance Examination rate. She pointed out that as the fourth batch of provincial-level model reform college, our school closely combines with the actual situation of Hubei province and focuses on the development function positioning of the university to condense five relatively stable research directions, such as local fiscal and taxation system, education finance, local government performance evaluation, inter-governmental relations and regional policies, labor and social security policies.

At the end of the meeting, dean Cai talked about the talent cultivation program of our school. She stressed that the school earnestly implements the education philosophy of teaching, management and service, and takes the lead in implementing the undergraduate tutoring system in our university. The students' professional level, practical ability and social adaptability are constantly improved,so is the quality of talent cultivation.
