“Nurses in HBUE are so great!” Song Bei, an international student from Hubei University of Economics said. May 12th is the International Nurses' Day. In order to tell the Chinese story well and spread the Chinese voice, on this special day, all the teachers and students of the School of International Education carried out a characteristic ideological and political activity with the theme of listening to the Long March story and feeling the anti-epidemic spirit.
The patient's no small matter! Nursing work is reflected in such ordinary daily things, and it is these ordinary things that undertake the great trust of countless lives, said Wang Lingli, a nurse from Hubei University of Economics School Hospital, who shared the story of the day. Mei Xiaoyuan, a doctor at Hubei University of Economics, said: the people who go to an extremely dangerous place are not born strong, but under the guidance of revolutionary spirits such as the Long March, the hot heart has a sense of responsibility that will never give up. All the teachers and students were moved by the sharing of the two medical staff and applauded warmly.
In the following lecture, Ye Xiaodong, Dean of Marxist College, told the great Long March story for teachers and students. He refined the spirit of the Long March into a vivid reflection of the revolutionary style of the Chinese Communists and the people's army led by them, a concentrated display of the national character of the Chinese nation's self-improvement and the highest embodiment of the national spirit with patriotism as the core.
Jordan, an international student from the Institute of International Education, said: This activity not only made our international students understand the story of the Long March, but also felt the efforts made by medical staff to fight the epidemic. Although the prevention and control of the epidemic is different from the Long March of the Red Army, it has made our international students feel the greatness of China.
