On December 9, the final of the "Hundred Students Forum" of the Communist Youth League of Hubei Universities to study, publicize and implement Xi Jinping's new era of socialism with Chinese characteristics was held at Zhongnan University of Economics and Law. Shi Guoqing, a member of the News Q1841 League Branch of our college, won the third prize as the only contestant in our school. At the same time, he was shortlisted for the top 100 provincial outstanding speakers of the "100-student Forum" and won the title of "Gold Medal Speaker".

    In March this year, the Hubei Provincial Party Committee and the Hubei Provincial Federation of Students continued to deploy and carry out the 2020 "Hundred Students Forum" series of activities in the league organizations of colleges and universities across the province. After layers of selection and promotion, in October this year, 408 lecturers and 358 League branches from 96 universities in the province were recommended to participate in the provincial selection, resulting in 100 outstanding provincial lecturers and 100 dynamic League branches. In the end, a total of 11 (groups) of outstanding speakers and 7 dynamic league branches were shortlisted to participate in the provincial finals and demonstration tour.
