November 22, Lei Jing ,a senior media person, gave a lecture in our school ,which the theme  was  that,  internet traffic ,content and operation is the key point to open the door of new media . Secretary of College of Journalism and Communication Party committee Tang Zhongqiu and all freshmen attended the lecture which  Dr. Li liang presided over.

     Lei Jing introduced the history of the rise of new media industry, pointed out that the flourishing mobile network contributed to the flourishing development of new media industry which students can devoted to. Lei Jing then described the specific methods of operating new media from the three aspects of content,  internet traffic  and  capitalize ,and proposed the concept of  internet traffic capitalize .

     After the lecture, Zhao Gen, a student from class Q1841 of journalism, said, I really like the lecture from which I benefited a lot .

     Lei jing, a senior media person and co-founder of What, has 17 years of working experience in the media industry. She usedto work for Wuhan Morning News, Triweekly, and  edit three magazines such as Greater Wuhan. Now,she is runing What Official Account, which  has become the most influential new media platform in Wuhan within one year.
