On the afternoon of October 16th, our college held a series of lectures on “University Study” in the lecture hall of the University Student Activity Center. The speakerofthe lecturer was the 2016 graduate of our college,Zhang Yang, a master student at Wuhan University. All students from 2018 participated in the lecture, and the event was hosted by counselor Li Bing.
Zhang Yang first introduced his own learning methods and experience. He said that we should listen to the teachers' valuable suggestions and learn from our peers. He used the speech of Steve Jobs at Stanford University as an example to remind students to arrange their time reasonably, and allocate the relationship between learning and community activities. Zhang Yang suggested that students should guarantee half an hour of English word memory time and six hours of comprehensive study time every day to improve learning efficiency and prepare for higher level learning. At the same time, he also believes that students should work and rest, develop their own hobbies, make friends, expand their social circle, and enhance their ability to adapt to society. At the end of the lecture, Zhang Yang answered the questions raised by the students, such as the precautions for the postgraduate study and professional study.
