On November 20, the award presentation meeting of the 7th National College Students' economic news works competition and the 9th National Seminar on economic news reform and development were held in Beijing. Our work eldest son hot and dry noodles won the first prize in the National College Students' economic news work competition, and our college also won the excellent organization award of the competition. Our students have won awards in this event for five consecutive times, including four first prizes.
More than 30 experts and scholars participated in the award ceremony and seminar. They came from more than 20 universities, including Tsinghua University, Renmin University of China, Communication University of China, Central University of Finance and Economics, Shanghai University of Finance and Economics, Zhongnan University Of Economics and Law, Jiangxi University of Finance and Economics, and media units such as Xinhua News Agency and Economic Observer,.Dong Yanxi, the award-winning representative of our college, as a guest, had an on-site interaction with experts through video connection.
The documentary hot and dry noodles for the eldest son (instructors Xia Xingtong and Li Bo), which was jointly filmed by Dong Yanxi, a grade 17 undergraduate of our college, Gong Qian, a master of Journalism and communication, and other students, won the first prize in news reporting.This work is an episode of the special documentary Wuhan 100.
The project of Wuhan 100 was supported by the Publicity Department of Hubei provincial Party committee, and the special film is inheritance With the theme of eldest son hot and dry noodles, a famous local snack bar in Wuhan, the owner's father and son's adherence to and inheritance of hot and dry noodles, which can best represent the snack and food making skills in Wuhan, are reported. The works highlight the owner's adherence to traditional crafts and the deep feelings between the owner's father and son, and also reflect the market style of Wuhan.
The National College Students' economic news works competition is co sponsored by China economic media association, the Applied Journalism and Communication Research Committee of China Journalism History Society and Beijing Industrial and Commercial University. It is held every two years.
The Seventh National College Students' economic news competition was launched in early 2021 and received more than 200 entries from more than 44 colleges and universities across the country. All the final judges of the competition came from senior authorities in the media, and finally selected 4 first prizes, 9 second prizes and 14 third prizes of news reporting; One first prize, one second prize and one third prize in news review category.
