In early March 2022, the Hubei Provincial Department of Education published the project approval list in the Notice from the Provincial Department of Education on the 2021 Provincial Teaching and Research projects in Hubei Colleges and Universities. The project “Exploration of Integrating Ideological and Political Elements in Practical Teaching of Tourism and Culture Courses” (2021399), applied by Dr. Zhou Xuande, a young teacher of our school, was approved.

The Hubei Provincial teaching research projects are established in the work deployment of the implementation of the local teaching reform research projects. Based on the school’s application and recommendation, the Provincial Department of Education studied and determined Dr. Zhou’s project after a comprehensive review by experts so that the project is checked at every level to ensure its quality. This project is an important demonstration that the school attaches great importance to the application of young teachers’ projects and the steady improvement of their teaching ability.

Our school attaches great importance in terms of assuring and improving the teaching quality and has carried out a series of activities to renew education theory and promote teachers’ academic literacy, level of expertise, and practical teaching ability to further strengthen cooperation and communication between teachers, discuss and solve practical problems in teaching, and vigorously boost the development of university management and education quality.
