Secretary Xiao Jiajie and Vice Dean Jiang Xin of Our School Led a Team to Investigate and Survey Food Buyer Network Technology (Wuhan) Co., Ltd.

On March 28th, 2022, Xiao Jiajie, Secretary of our school, and Jiang Xin, vice dean of our school, together with teachers of the Exhibition Programme, went to Food Buyer Network Technology (Wuhan) Co., Ltd. for research. The company’s founder, General Manager Chen Honghao, gave them a warm welcome.

Food Buyer Network Technology (Wuhan) Co., Ltd., is an Internet technology company focused on providing customized solutions for sourcing Chinese food material directly for the food industry. It has three Internet platforms for the food material industry, “Xiangshou Premade Ingredients and Prefabricated Vegetable Exhibition,” “Xiangshou Ingredients Exchange Center,” and “Xiangshou Chinese Food Ingredients Buyer.” The Ingredients Exchange Center is located in the Wuhan International Convention and Exhibition Center, the core landmark business district of Wuhan, covering an area of more than 1,000 square meters. It is the first panoramic food ingredients selection discovery hall in Wuhan, and also a comprehensive stage integrating catering, exhibition, marketing, logistics, and business resources. By summarizing and studying old dishes to create new dishes, online product trading, urban warehouse distribution, buyer community communication, and other services, the Ingredients Exchange Center supports food brand enterprises in marketing and brand promotion, catering channel distribution, and product transaction and delivery.

During the research, General Manager Chen Honghao showed the team the spatial layout of the Ingredients Exchange Center, and introduced in detail the frozen products exhibition area, conventional products exhibition area, central kitchen area, banquet tasting area, business negotiation area, etc. Secretary Xiao and Dean Jiang had an in-depth discussion with Manager Chen about construction planning, future cooperation, and other issues of the Hubei Cuisine Industry Course at our school. Manager Chen and Secretary Xiao both agreed that, in the future, the Ingredients Exchange Center and the Hubei Cuisine Industry Course of our school would become two platforms that could promote each other and fuse. The former would focus on business occasions, while the latter would focus on education and scientific research. The two institutions would cooperate to promote the development of the Hubei Cuisine industry jointly.
