On September 13th, 2022, the website of the National Office of Philosophy and Social Sciences published the public list of 2022 Annual Projects and Youth Projects of National Social Science Foundation. The general project, “Research on the Mechanism of Cultural-Tourism Integration Promoting the High-quality Development of Tourism in the Yangtze River Delta Urban Agglomeration,” applied by Professor Deng Zutao of our school, was approved and supported.
In recent years, the leadership of the School of Tourism and Hospitality Management attaches great importance to applying the three Programmes foundations and has carried out comprehensive deployment and mobilization for it. At the same time, we have invited experts inside and outside the school for special guidance for several rounds and carefully organized applications to enhance the teachers’ confidence in obtaining the approval of national projects.
The National Social Science Foundation Project is the summit, most authoritative, and most competitive foundation project in the national research circle of philosophy and social science. It strongly supports the construction of high-level universities and double first-class disciplines. The approval this time is of great significance to further stimulate the innovation vitality of scientific research and promote discipline construction of our school.
