On April 3rd, the hotel management department of our hospital organized all the students of class Q1741 of the hotel to visit and investigate the hilton hotel in Wuhan optical valley (one of the internship bases of hotel management specialty). This visit and research activity was led by Mr. Kang Fen from the hotel management department and conducted on-site guidance.
First of all, the hotel general manager and the management team made a collective appearance to warmly welcome the students and had cordial interaction and communication with them. Then, the students listened to the theme lecture on Hilton Hotel Group's development and corporate culture. Later, the hotel arranged for the students to visit the hotel's operation area, including the hotel's lobby, Chinese and western restaurants, guest rooms, fitness room and outdoor garden, etc. hotel staff gave a detailed introduction to the hotel's architectural decoration style and connotation, hotel functional design and layout, operation modes and characteristics of various departments, etc.
The hotel also specially organized our graduates working in the hotel to have face-to-face discussions with visiting classmates. The students and younger siblings enthusiastically asked questions and the seniors and elder sisters answered them carefully. The atmosphere was very warm. Through exchanges with outstanding senior students and senior sisters, the students' professional identity and self-confidence have been further enhanced. After the alumni forum, the hotel also specially prepared rich and exquisite tea breaks for the students.
After the visit and research activities, Li Xueling said that the hotel's overall architectural design was ingenious and well integrated with nature, fully reflecting the hotel's green design concept and high sense of social responsibility, leaving a deep impression on the students. Chen Che said that he was surprised and surprised by the hotel's general manager personally leading the management team to welcome everyone and take photos. He really felt the hospitality of Hilton Group's corporate culture. Xiao Ao said that what struck him most was the professionalism displayed by many professional hotel managers, such as modesty and self-confidence, composure and serenity, elegance and warmth. In addition, the students also agreed that the hotel's entire reception activities, whether it be creative planning, venue layout, or specific implementation, division of labor and cooperation, were carefully arranged in all aspects, making everyone feel very warm and comfortable.
Through this visit and research activity, the students have a more intuitive and in-depth understanding of internationally renowned hotel groups, and have a clearer goal and direction for the following professional study.
