From November 1 to 3, 2019, Professor Deng Zutao and Professor Cao Liu participated in the 19th National Symposium on Regional Tourism Development held at the International Academic Exchange Center of Qingdao University. The National Symposium on Regional Tourism Development was founded in 1989 by Mr. Chen Chuankang of Peking University and Mr. Sun Wenchang of Qingdao University. It has been 30 years since then. At present, the association is presided over by President Wu Bihu of Peking University and Executive Vice President Ma Bo of Qingdao University. This seminar mainly focuses on the new situation, new tasks and new challenges faced by regional tourism development in the new era. The participants come from many universities, research institutions, tourism enterprises and government agencies, including Peking University, china tourism academy, Sichuan University, Fudan University, Shandong University, South China Normal University and Nanjing Normal University. Professor Deng Zutao gave a keynote speech at the conference entitled "Study on the Spatial Structure of Tourism Flows in Urban Agglomerations in the Middle Reaches of the Yangtze River: Correlation Network and Transmission Mechanism", and won the excellent paper of the 19th National Symposium on Regional Tourism Development. The conference announced the list of vice-presidents, standing directors and directors, and professor Deng zutao was added as the standing director of the regional tourism development Committee of the China regional science association.
