On April 21st, as the 25th World Reading Day approached, the Reading Festival of Scholarly Companion with Our Bank and the commendation activities of Scholarly Departments kicked off online, and our school won the honorary title of Five Scholarly Departments with the fourth annual per capita loan volume. According to the statistical data of the library lending system from January 1 to December 31, 2019, the top five secondary colleges in the average number of books borrowed by Hubei University of Economics in 2019 were selected.

On the most beautiful April day in the world, the breeze is full of books! In this sunny April, when the grass grows and flies, Dong Shijie, the president, sent a letter to the faculity and students of the whole university, entitled Love to read diligently and build a scholarly campus, to build a scholarly campus. President Dong mentioned: Reading should at least be loving, diligent and good at reading. I hope that teachers and students will actively participate, interact and share, accompany and be friends with books, ignite the passion of reading, experience the beauty of reading, and enhance the strength and courage of home anti-epidemic .

Our school has won this honor for four consecutive years in the selection and commendation activities of Five Scholarly Departments.
