On the occasion of the May Fourth Youth Day, the Central Committee of the Communist Youth League announced the list of National Upward Good Young People in 2020, and Shen Sijing, a major in cooking and nutrition education in our college, was awarded the title of Hard-working Young People.
Shen Sijing practiced hard skills on the ground, kept improving and carried forward the craftsman spirit, and won the second place in the national selection competition and the third place in the finals of the 45th World Skills Competition for Cooking (Western Food), and was hired as an expert coach assistant of the national team, and won honors such as Excellent Player of the 45th World Skills Competition, Hubei Youth May 4th Medal, Hubei Technical Expert and Outstanding Contribution to Innovation Management of Wuhan Catering Industry in the 40 Years of Reform and Opening up. During the epidemic prevention and control period, Shen Sijing, as a member of Zou Zhiping's National Skills Master Studio, took the initiative to join the Hubei Cooking Volunteer Team to assist Zou Zhiping's National Skills Master Studio to contact national cooking colleagues and catering related enterprises to participate in anti-epidemic donation activities, and collected more than 6 million yuan worth of vegetables, seasonings, nutrition and disinfection equipment. As the coach of the cooking (Western food) training team in the 46th World Skills Competition of Hubei University of Economics, Shen Sijing insisted on stopping school and training during the epidemic, worked out training plans for the team members, shared learning materials online and supervised the scientific training of the team members.
