In January 2021, the fifth "Rush Hour" hospitality management simulation competition announced the results of the competition, and three teams from the Hospitality Management Department were awarded.
In 2020, Hospitality Management Department organized 5 student teams to participate in the 5th "Rush Hour" Hospitality Management Simulation Competition, competing with 712 teams from 102 universities， including Fudan University, Nankai University, Xiamen University, Sun Yat-sen University, Ocean University of China, South China University of Technology，etc.. After 6 rounds of simulated decision-making in the preliminary round, all the 5 teams successfully entered the semifinal. In the semifinals, five teams completed eight rounds of mock decisions and submitted their posters. According to the results of the simulation operation and the poster score in the final stage, the "Yuanqi Team" under the guidance of Teacher Liang Hui and the "Named Generation Team" under the guidance of Teacher Zhan Li won the national third prize, and the "I Love Snackfood Street Team" under the guidance of Teacher Xia Baoguo won the second prize in Central China.
"Rush Hour" hospitality management simulation competition is based on 12 successful "Rush Hour" business simulation competitions held at home and abroad. Every year, the competition attracts hundreds of Chinese universities, including Tsinghua University, Peking University, Renmin University of China, Fudan University, Sun Yat-sen University and other well-known universities, and tens of thousands of students participate in the competition. So far, the hospitality management simulation competition has been successfully held for five sessions. In 2020, under the guidance of professional teachers, the five participating teams of our school put their knowledge into practice and studied assiduously, and finally achieved excellent results in this high-level competition.
