From May 9 to May 10, the 45th World Skills Contest Hubei Provincial Contest Finals, the first Hubei Craftsmen Recognition Conference and Skills China Tour 2018 entered Hubei Exhibition and was held ceremoniously in Guanggu Science and Technology Exhibition Center. After fierce competition, the three students of our school's team, Shen Sijing, Li Xinxin and Zhang Hui, swept the top three and successfully entered the 45th World Skills Competition Training Team of Hubei Province ( Western Food ), with Shen Sijing, a student of Class Q 1641 cooking, ranked first in the province. In view of the perfect experimental conditions and excellent organizational ability of Hubei Institute of Economics, Hubei Provincial Department of Human Resources and Social Security awarded Hubei Institute of Economics the plaque " World Skills Competition Hubei Provincial Training Base ( Western Food ) Project".

On the morning of the 9th, Wang Xiaodong, vice governor of Hubei provincial party committee, Huang Chuping, executive vice governor of the standing committee of the provincial party committee, Yang Tao, vice minister of human resources and social security, Bie Bixiong, secretary general of the provincial government, and Xiao Chrysanthemum, director of the human society department, vice minister of provincial party committee organization, visited the exhibition of Chu cuisine culture, and Zou Zhiping focused on Wu Changyu, a non-material cultural heritage. The Chucai Culture Exhibition is hosted by Chucai Research Institute of Hubei University of Economics, Zou Zhiping's National Skill Master Studio and Lu Yongliang's Skill Master Studio. Mei Hua, vice secretary of the school party Committee and secretary of the discipline inspection Commission, visited the contestants and the Chu food culture exhibition.
