From August 6 to August 10, 2018, the seventh biennial conference of the International Tourism Study Association (ITSA) and the second international conference of the Tourism Educator association South Africa (TESA) was successfully held in zwane, South Africa, hosted by the university of South Africa (UNISA). Teachers of our college DENG Yi, MAO Yan, GAO Yan and DONG QIAN submitted their academic papers to the conference and were invited to attend the conference.
This session covers eight issues including "tourism city and city tourism", "Brazil, Russia, India, China, South Africa (BRICS countries) outbound tourism market" "tourism policy, planning and management," "blue ocean economic and tourism", "the African union with tourism" agenda 2063 "tourism and hotel teaching" "the tourism and hotel development of artificial intelligence era" and "wildlife tourism". Derek Hanekom(the ministry of tourism of South Africa), Professor IOG Moche, vice President of the University of South Africa, as well as the experts and scholars from South Africa, the United States, China, Indonesia, Mauritius and other countries made wonderful keynote speeches on the theme of the conference.
In the group discussion, teachers of our college made a group speech on the issues of national parks, community development and eco-tourism, and had an in-depth discussion with participants from other countries on how to promote the construction of natural protection sites and the harmonious development of tourism economy.
On September 22, the "symposium on classified management and planning of natural conservation sites" was held in Beijing, jointly sponsored by IUCN China representative office, tongji university school of architecture and urban planning, national park research center and institute of forest environment, Chinese academy of forestry. About 20 experts and scholars from national park administration, IUCN China representative office, Chinese academy of forestry, development research center of the state council, Peking University, tongji university and other governments, research institutions and institutions of higher learning attended the seminar.
The seminar focused on two major topics: one is the conservation management objectives and scientific classification of nature conservation sites; the second topic is the planning system and dynamic regulation mechanism of national parks and nature reserves. Professor DENG Yi of our college was invited to attend the meeting and made a speech on natural resource asset management system, national park financial management system and other issues.
