On July 2nd, the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security of the People’s Republic of China issued the “ The 46th World Skills Competition Training Bases in China” (Letter of the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security 2021, No. 89), in which HBUE is selected as one of the 46th World Skills Competition Cooking (Western Food) Project Training Bases in China.   

HBUE has actively participated in the World Skills Competition since 2018, and also vigorously built its own training base for the World Skills Competition. The training base of HBUE was selected as the 45th and 46th World Skills Competition Cooking (Western Food) Project provincial training base by the Department of Human Resources and Social Security of Hubei Province because of its outstanding achievements. In recent years, the base has cultivated many excellent students such as Shen Sijing, Li Xiawei, etc. Zou Zhiping, the group leader of the base experts, was also awarded the 45th World Skills Competition Outstanding Contribution Award of Hubei Province by the Department of Human Resources and Social Security of Hubei Province.
