On August 18, the National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC) announced the evaluation results of 2021 National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC) applications. A total of 8 projects of Hubei University of Economics were approved for funding. Among them, the project of Dr. Dong Qian, a young teacher of the School of Tourism and Hospitality Management (STHM), Process and mechanism of Local Practice of Ecological Migration in National Parks under the Background of Mobility: The Case of Shennongjia was approved as a Young Scientists Fund project, which was the first time that our teachers obtained a National Natural Science Fund project. 

In recent years, STHM attaches great importance to the application work for the National Natural Science Foundation of China, integrating the strength of the school, organizeing the application work carefully, inviting peer experts to conduct in-depth review of application materials, and effectively improving the quality of application materials. The approval of the National Natural Science Foundation of China is an important achievement of the academic training of teachers in the school, and will play a positive role in improving the academic level of scientific research in the school, strengthening the discipline construction of the school and improving the quality of talent training.
