On September 27th, a five-member delegation led by Cyril LANREZAC, President of Savignac International School of Hotel Management in France, and Catherine RANOUX, President of France Panzhi Culinary Institute, visited the School of Tourism and Hospitality Management. Vice President Hong Fu, the Office of International Exchange and Cooperation leaders Dean Yan Mao and Vice Dean Jiang Xin, and faculty representatives welcomed the guests and discussed collaborative matters.
Vice President Hong Fu extended a warm welcome to President Cyril LANREZAC, President Catherine RANOUX, and their delegation, providing an overview of the University and the institute in terms of their educational history, academic disciplines, program offerings, faculty, student development, and international exchanges. He hoped this visit would serve as an opportunity to establish channels for dialogue and cooperation between the two institutions, seize the moment, and promote collaboration.
President Cyril LANREZAC and President Catherine RANOUX introduced the Savignac International School of Hotel Management and France Panzhi Culinary Institute, respectively. They expressed their desire to strengthen cooperation, achieve complementary advantages, and promptly initiate substantial collaborations in international tourism hotel management and culinary arts training professionals with a global perspective and world-class standards.
During the visit, cooperation framework agreements were signed with both institutions. Further discussions took place on cooperation models and project details related to the 3+1 undergraduate cooperation program, the 3+1+2 bachelor-master cooperation program, holiday study programs, and faculty-student exchange programs. Preliminary intentions for collaboration were reached.
After the meeting, the visiting delegation toured the Training Center of the School of Tourism and Hotel Management and Chu Cuisine Modern Industry College. They also had a cordial discussion with our students.
