School of Marxism holds three major fund project declaration guidance

 

(Correspondent: Ye Xinming) In order to do well in the declaration of the 2023 Fund, on November 13, the School of Marxism organized a guidance meeting on the declaration of the three major funds. Professor Luo Yuting, former Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of Wuhan University, Professor Xu Baicai, former Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of South-Central University for Nationalities, Professor Xiang Jiuyu, Changjiang Scholar of the Ministry of Education, Professor Han Meiqun of China University Of Geoscienceswuhan. and Professor Yang Wei of Wuhan University were invited to the meeting.The meeting was held in two groups, chaired by Professors Tu Airong and Ding Yinhe, and attended by all teachers of the School of Marxism.

At the meeting, the teachers made a detailed report to the experts on the reasons for selecting the topic, the theme of the declaration, the research method, the research content, the research objectives and the key scientific issues, etc. The experts put forward their guidance opinions on the specific issues in the project applications one by one, pointing out the problems such as the lack of focus on the research issues and the lack of problem awareness.

The experts gave detailed answers to the difficult and painful issues raised by the teachers concerned in the declaration of the fund, and made many constructive comments on the selection of the fund topic, research content and research focus, etc. They also taught their own scientific research experience and fund evaluation experience on the spot, exchanged face-to-face with the teachers on how to declare the fund project, and gave them comprehensive guidance on the selection of the topic, project writing and follow-up work. They also gave comprehensive advice to teachers on how to apply for funding projects, and gave expectations to young teachers on independent thinking, concentration and in-depth research.

After the guidance session, the participating teachers generally agreed that the guidance session was very helpful to the fund application work, and that they had gained a lot of inspiration from the comprehensive guidance given by the experts and professors, which had enhanced their confidence in declaring the three major fund projects. They said that they would carefully digest and absorb the insights of the expert professors, carefully write the declaration materials, and carefully prepare the preliminary preparation, and strive to make a breakthrough in the declaration of future funds.
