He Zhiwu, professor of Chongqing University of Science and Technology and director of Chongqing Rural Revitalization and Grassroots Governance Research Center, gave a lecture titled A Triple Logical Review of Rural Revitalization in the Dimension of Chinese Modernization. The lecture was hosted by Vice President Tu Airong and attended by all teachers of the School of Marxism.
Based on the in-depth study of General Secretary Xi Jinping's important discourses on rural revitalization, Professor He Zhiwu, combined with the great practice of rural revitalization and concrete cases, elaborated the inner logic of rural revitalization from three dimensions: theoretical logic, historical logic and practical logic.
Professor He Zhiwu firstly expounded the theoretical logic of rural revitalization in the dimension of Chinese-style modernization: firstly, the theory of Chinese-style modernization road; secondly, the two analytical theories of rural revitalization.
Distinguishing between the two historical stages since the Qin and Han dynasties and the Republican period, Professor He Zhiwu systematically sorted out the historical logic of rural development and made a short summary of the history of rural development in the two stages. Professor He then provides an in-depth theoretical explanation of the two practical stages of rural construction, modernisation and common wealth in the countryside since the founding of the state, combined with a large number of case studies.
Based on an examination of the triple logic, Professor He Zhiwu put forward six conclusions and understandings. He pointed out that the leadership of the Party is the code for the success of Chinese-style modernization and the key element for the success or failure of rural revitalization. Industrial revitalization and ecological revitalization are the difficult points, and the relationship between doing and not doing should be handled well; talent and organizational revitalization are the guarantee, and the Party's centralized and unified leadership should guide talents to go to the countryside and attract and train them at the same time; and the Party's centralized and unified leadership is the guarantee. The revitalization of culture is about the soft power of the countryside and the consolidation of long-term mechanisms.
The participating teachers expressed that Professor He Zhiwu's report was comprehensive, systematic and focused, with strong relevance and guidance, which provided good guidance and help to accurately comprehend and grasp the development strategy of rural revitalization.
Professor Tu Airong spoke highly of Professor He Zhiwu's brilliant lecture. She pointed out that Professor He's lecture was both highly theoretical and practically deep, and brought an academic feast to everyone through a combination of theoretical explanation and case interpretation, especially the issues raised by Professor He, such as the aging of rural areas and how to promote rural revitalization in hollow villages, provided good research directions for comrades who are interested in studying rural revitalization，hoping that teachers will study and learn from them, draw wisdom and nutrition from them, and contribute to the great strategy of rural revitalization.
