(Contributor: Wang Haitao) Recently, the list of university-level first-class undergraduate courses for the year 2022 and the list of university-level first-class undergraduate courses (cultivation) for the year 2023 were announced. Three courses from our faculty, namely Confidence in the Socialist System with Chinese Characteristics, Outline of Modern Chinese History, and Psychological Health Education for College Students, have been selected as university-level first-class undergraduate courses for the year 2022. Additionally, two courses, Basic Principles of Marxism and Mao Zedong Thought and the Introduction to the Theoretical System of Socialism with Chinese Characteristics , have been selected for cultivation as university-level first-class undergraduate courses for the year 2023. As of now, most of our offered courses have entered the list of university-level first-class undergraduate courses or cultivation courses, marking a significant upgrade in our course development and rapid advancement.

In accordance with the requirements of the Academic Affairs Office, the selection of university-level first-class undergraduate courses involves teacher applications, college recommendations, initial review by the Academic Affairs Office, expert evaluations, and approval by the school's Teaching Committee. Courses designated as university-level first-class undergraduate courses (cultivation) undergo a one-year cultivation period. Upon completion of course development and successful organizational review by the school, they are officially recognized as university-level first-class courses. Currently, our faculty has one national-level first-class undergraduate course and one provincial-level first-class undergraduate course.
