On the morning of April 10, 2020, Wang Housheng , the secretary of the party committee of the school through Tencent network video conference, presided over the special meeting. All the school leaders, department heads, branch secretaries, counselors, class advisors, teaching and research secretaries attended the meeting. Sun Lihai, vice dean of the school, conveyed the spirit of the first undergraduate teaching work conference in 2020, and informed the operation of online teaching in the first stage of the school,annual teaching tasks, graduation practice, graduation thesis defense, course teaching, curriculum construction, teaching research and the construction of teaching organization at the basic level.

Lan Zili conveyed the spirit of president Dong Shijie's speech at the first undergraduate teaching work conference in the new semester, and reported the recent progress of the school's scientific research project application and academic research.Further work arrangements were made for the application of major scientific research projects, the construction of discipline platform and the introduction of talents in this academic year. It was emphasized that all the staffs should have a unified understanding, coordinating the epidemic prevention & control and the development of the school to strengthen confidence and work hard to achieve the objectives of this year while doing a good job in epidemic prevention and control.

Wang Housheng arranged the issues including the returning of the staffs to the Wuhan, the employment of senior students, enrollment publicity and the Party branch theme day activities in April. He stressed that the school will continue to maintain vigilance against the epidemic situation and the requirements for prevention and control, and pay close attention to all prevention and control work. With a highly responsible attitude and spirit, the school will strengthen the teaching of graduation classes and the examination of graduation qualifications, so as to ensure the normal graduation of students. To implement the recent employment policy, the class advisors, counselors and classmates should play important roles to provide online academic guidance and help to promote students employment as soon as possible.
