On the evening of October 18, the 7th World armyman Games opened in Wuhan, Hubei Province. Xi Jinping, general secretary of the CPC Central Committee, chairman of the CPC Central Committee and chairman of the Central Military Commission, attended the opening ceremony and announced the opening of the games. The 7th World armyman games is the first comprehensive international military sports event hosted by China. It is also the largest international sports event hosted by China after the Beijing Olympic Games. More than 9300 military athletes from 109 countries will compete and enhance friendship in Jiangcheng and Wuhan. The 7th World Armyman's games include 27 major events and 329 minor events, including military pentathlon, Navy pentathlon, air force pentathlon, orienteering and parachuting.

Guo Xinyu and Xu jingman, two students of 2017's environmental design major of our college, took part in training, practical training, drill and joint platoon in Wuhan finance school training center and main stadium of Wuhan sports center as famous brand volunteers from July 14 to October 17. On the night of the opening ceremony on October 18, Guo Xinyu, as a famous player of Colombia team, and Xu jingman, as a substitute famous player, made a brilliant debut at the opening ceremony of the military games!
