On December 10, Gu Chen, President of the Academy of art and design, led a team, Wang Zhiyun, vice president, and Tao Ran, director of the Department of animation, to visit the school of art and design of Guangzhou Maritime College, together with Yang Qianming, Dean of the school of art and design, backbone teachers of teaching and scientific research, Professor of animation of Guangzhou Academy of fine arts and Professor Chen zanwei, member of animation and digital media education committee of the Ministry of education Taking liberal arts as the background, this paper launched a heated discussion on people-oriented, science and technology as the law, culture as the outline, ideological and political aspects of the course, talked about the feelings of art and design teaching, and shared in detail the generation and development of digital media, the characteristics of animation and pan animation concept, and the forecast of future development trend. At the exchange meeting, Professor Chen zanwei gave a lecture on animation and digital media in the context of new liberal arts.
