Chaobin Huang participated in the "2021 China Art Anthropology International Symposium" and made a speech

On the morning of October 29, sponsored by the China Society for Anthropology of Arts and Anhui University of Finance and Economics, undertook by the Art College of Anhui University of Finance and Economics, and co-organized by the Chinese National Visual Image Research Base of Southeast University, National Art Magazine, and Yunnan University, the 2021 Chinese Art Anthropology International Academic Symposium opened at Anhui University of Finance and Economics. The theme of this conference is Art Anthropology and National Development. Associate Professor Chaobin Huang of our college gave a speech on Modern Cultural Consumption and Innovative Inheritance of Traditional Handicrafts.

At the meeting, Associate Professor Chaobin Huang first started with the characteristics of consumption and modern cultural consumption, analyzed the possibility of many excellent traditional handicrafts in my country as modern cultural consumption, and took Nuo carving craftsmanship as an example to point out the realistic context of traditional handicrafts that are not optimistic. Finally, focusing on the cultivation of traditional handicraft talents and cultural consumption habits, the construction of a diversified handicraft cultural consumption system and the construction of consumer markets, etc., the path to achieve innovative inheritance of traditional handicrafts is proposed.

More than 200 experts and scholars from art anthropology and related disciplines at home and abroad participated in this conference. The on-site academic interaction was enthusiastic and achieved good academic results.
