Our College Conducts Research and Exchange Visits to Alumni Enterprises


News from this website (Correspondent: Xi Hongbo) - In an effort to deepen collaboration between the university and industry, and to propel the professional development and innovative talent cultivation model of our College of Art and Design within the framework of the New Finance and Economics education reform, a delegation led by the College's Party Secretary, Jiang Qiong, Vice Party Secretary Wan Qingzhao, along with faculty members Li Xiangwen from the Environmental Design Department and counselor Xi Hongbo, visited the alumni enterprise, Zhenglong Zhongzhi Construction Group Co., Ltd., on November 29th. The purpose was to conduct on-site research, visit alumni, and discuss potential collaboration between the university and the alumni enterprise.

During the visit, the delegation, guided by alumni representative Xiao Hanyue and relevant personnel, toured the enterprise to gain insights into its developmental history, technological advantages, and project outcomes. Subsequently, both parties engaged in a discussion and exchange of ideas in the conference room.

At the meeting, Ms. Zeng Jing, the General Manager of Zhenglong Group, introduced the company's culture and talent cultivation model. She emphasized the company's commitment to the core values of connecting, empowering, adding value, and contributing. The company aims to build a leading internal incubation model and a comprehensive management talent development platform. Ms. Zeng also provided valuable suggestions on aligning talent cultivation with industry demands, integrating theoretical and practical teaching, and other relevant aspects.

Alumnus Xiao Hanyue shared his entrepreneurial journey and expressed gratitude to the alma mater for providing a platform for entrepreneurship. He acknowledged the patient guidance provided by the College's teachers in the studio. Xiao pointed out the increasing demands of the industry for well-rounded professionals, highlighting the importance of communication skills, learning ability, and stress resistance in talent cultivation. Drawing from his experiences as an industry mentor and honors class instructor, he expressed his willingness to contribute to jointly cultivate more high-quality applied talents with the alma mater.

Jiang Qiong introduced the development of the College's disciplines and majors, as well as the situation regarding student internships and employment. She expressed the hope that through collaboration, the university and enterprises could deepen the reform of talent cultivation models, better align with market demands, and actively promote the mutual benefits of resource sharing. She emphasized the College's commitment to strengthening alumni relations, integrating alumni resources, and encouraging alumni to provide valuable opinions and suggestions for the development of the alma mater.

This on-site visit further deepened communication and cooperation between the College and enterprises, strengthened the connection between the College and alumni, and provided valuable insights into the demands of enterprises for talents. It serves as a beneficial reference for the College's work in the disciplines and professional development, as well as the innovation of talent cultivation models under the New Finance and Economics reform.
