President Fang Jie Leads Delegation to Visit Italian Universities

During the visit to the Academy of Fine Arts in Udine, the first Council meeting of the Sino-Foreign Cooperative Education Program was held, attended by Dr. Rizzo, Vice President of the Academy, and Professor Malisan, Director of the Design Department. President Fang Jie provided a detailed introduction to our university's development history, academic characteristics, and advantageous disciplines. She pointed out that this on-site exchange and negotiation deepened the understanding between the two sides, instilling confidence in further deepening cooperation and achieving more substantive results in the future. Gu Chen, Dean of the School of Art and Design, introduced the academic situation and characteristics of our university's art and design program. Both parties also engaged in in-depth discussions on matters such as Italian teachers coming to China for lectures, our teachers visiting Italy for academic exchanges, and short-term student exchanges.

President Fang Jie and the delegation also met with Dr. Chen Li, President of the Wuhan University French Alumni Association, and Professor Qi Chong from Paris Diderot University (Paris 7). They discussed establishing cooperative relationships with relevant universities in Paris and introducing high-level talents.

This delegation's visit to Italy further promotes exchanges and cooperation between our university and Italian institutions, aiding our university in aligning with its development reality, accelerating internal construction, promoting multicultural interactions, and jointly building a new platform for international exchange and cooperation.
