The "Advanced Language Programming" Teaching Group Is Actively Exploring the Online -offline Mixed Teaching Model

News from this website (correspondent: Cui Hongfang) Advanced Language Programming is an important basic course offered by the College of Information and Communication Engineering for freshmen of this major. Under the leadership of Associate Professor Li Xiang, the person in charge of the course group, all the teacher groups in the course group actively carried out the exploration of the online and offline mixed teaching mode.

In order to adapt to the development trend of modern education and meet the diversified development needs of students, the curriculum group actively carried out the exploration of online and offline mixed teaching modes in the teaching activities of the 2019 freshmen of our school. On the one hand, the learning platform is used to build the teaching platform of C language programming to realize online attendance, classroom interaction, teaching videos and courseware self-study; on the other hand, the PTA-assisted teaching platform is used to realize the usual homework assignment and homework delivery. Correction and debugging of programs, mid-term and final exams, etc. Teachers can control students' learning situation in time and help students master programming technology.

Every Sunday morning, the course group uses the form of all teachers to rotate the questions in the form of a weekly competition among the freshmen of grade 2019. A total of 8 weekly competitions are held. The weekly competitions are held on the PTA teaching platform. The difficulty of the questions is higher than that of ordinary homework. And strictly in accordance with the teaching progress of the course at the same time, to help students measure their mastery of program design, find their own shortcomings, and stimulate students' enthusiasm for learning.

Through the reform of the teaching model, students are transformed from passive learning to active learning, and they actively participate in teaching reform activities. This teaching model can be carried out in accordance with the students' time and learning ability, which enhances the students' autonomous learning ability. Allow students to master the application of knowledge through programming and answering questions, thereby greatly improving the teaching effect. While meeting the knowledge needs of students, it is conducive to the healthy development and happy growth of students. At the same time, teachers analyze and comment online based on students' learning situation, help students answer questions and summarize learning experience, and improve the effectiveness of interaction between teachers and students.
