On Oct. 29, the final of the Third Cyberspace Security Contests of Hubei was closed at HUST. Two student teams from our school won the first and third prizes separately.

 The contest lasts for a month, consisting of the preliminary and the final. In the preliminary, all the teams was divided into four groups-- the Undergraduate University, the Vocational College, the Enterprise and Public Institution and the Network Security Firms (Technophiles)--- and the winning teams of every group stepped into the final. There were only five teams of 67 teams form 36 undergraduate universities passed the preliminary. In the final, all the winning teams can attack and defense freely on the same platform and Four teams of undergraduate universities won the first prize.

 The contest was held jointly by Cyberspace Administration of Hubei, Hubei provincial Department of Education, etc. with the aim of implementing the spirit of the Meeting of Central Cyberspace Security, further improving the awareness of cyberspace security and strengthening the cultivation of talents team.
