(Correspondent Xiang Chen) On 30 Mar, the Forth China University Computer Competition - Group Programming Ladder Tournament (shorten CCCC) National Finals was successfully held in our university. A total of 200 students from 20 teams from 7 universities including Wuhan University of Science and Technology and Central South University for Nationalities came to our university to participate the competition. Four Student-teams representing our university participates the competition with the results of our university winning the second place in the team game in central China division and one team winning the third prize the national team.

The competition is jointly held by the Committee of Computer Science Professional Teaching Steering, the Committee of Software Engineering Professional Teaching Steering, the Committee of Computer Course Teaching Steering the Association of Computer Education Research the National Higher Education Instituteof MOE with the aim of improving the ability of college students on analyzing and solving problems by computers, and of enhancing teamwork spirit.
