The School of Information Management and Statistics holds the 2021 teacher-taught competition

    On November 11, 2021, the finals of the teacher teaching competition of our school were held in J2-216 and J2-218 respectively. All teachers attended the teaching competition. The game was hosted by Vice Dean Zhu Xiaobo and Zhang Zhigang in two separate venues.

    Nine teachers were shortlisted in the finals and completed lectures and presentations within 30 minutes. Members of the teaching committee and winners of previous teaching competitions served as judges and scored on-site. The college supervisor comprehensively scored the usual classroom lectures and the on-site teaching of the competition.

    At the competition site, the participating teachers were fully prepared, with a natural and generous teaching attitude, well-structured classroom design, focused teaching content, and simple explanation of problems, which won warm applause from the judges and observing teachers.

    After fierce competition, teachers Zhao Qiong and Zheng Lu won the first prize of this competition, teachers Xiong Junjing and Ye Tifang won the second prize, and teachers Chang Shan, Hu Fan, Liu Fen, Liu Qiping, and Song Shenyi won the third prize.

    The teacher teaching competition is an important measure for the school to strengthen the training and construction of the teaching staff. Through the development of this competition, teachers' basic teaching skills have been further tempered, teachers have been inspired to update their teaching concepts, and their ability to apply modern teaching methods has been improved, which has a positive role in promoting the overall improvement of the teaching level of our teachers.
