2022 is the 20th anniversary of the establishment of Hubei Institute of Economics and the 115th anniversary of the school. In order to better create a school celebration atmosphere, strengthen the blood connection between alumni and their alma mater, show the outstanding alumni of our school, set an example, and give full play to the role of alumni as a facilitator and student work. The Ministry (Department), in conjunction with the Alumni Work Office and the School of Information Management and Statistics, held the fifth Alumni Interview activity in the Shuxiang Yulin on the second floor of the library. The guest of this interview is Shao Wei, a grade 02 alumnus of the School of Information Management and Statistics, majoring in e-commerce. He is currently the general manager of Wuhan Changchuang Electric Equipment Co., Ltd. and the chairman of Hubei Mosheng Construction Engineering Co., Ltd. Song Jian, Director of the Cooperation and Development Department, Tian Quanxi, Director of the Student Affairs Department (Department), Zhang Kui, Deputy General Manager of the Logistics Group, Zhong Liwei, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the School of Information Management and Statistics, Yang Yajuan, Student Affairs Department (Department), counselor Wang Donghong, Cui Jin, Fang Zhouran and more than 40 students participated in this activity.

         With the theme of Career Planning and University Life Trajectory, Shao Wei shared his study experience in the scholastic academy, his job hunting experience and entrepreneurial experience after graduation. Shao Wei put forward three suggestions to the students: first, to exercise eloquence and enhance self-confidence; second, to learn professional courses well, to lay a good professional foundation for job hunting; third, to participate in more practical activities inside and outside the school, to lay a good practical foundation for job hunting and employment . In the end, he expressed his love and nostalgia for his alma mater, and was proud of the rapid development of his alma mater in recent years. He said that he would continue to provide financial assistance to younger students who are in financial difficulties.

 Song Jian made a concluding speech for the event. He expressed his sincere greetings and gratitude to Shao Wei alumni, praised Shao Wei alumni's social feelings, and affirmed the impact of this sharing on the students. He said, A person's success is not in people's praise, but in his service to people. He encouraged the majority of students to dare to try and make mistakes, to explore, to be diligent in reflection, to be confident and to move in the right direction in their study career, and to be a caring person with dedication and service consciousness.
