The Vice President of Frostburg State University and delegates visit HBUE

    On June 12, Dr. Alan Walker, Vice President of Frostburg State University, led a delegation to visit our university. Principal Fang Jie received Dr. Alan Walker and delegates. The two sides fully communicated on matters related to promoting the School of Intelligent Business and Big Data between Frostburg State University and Hubei University of Economics, a Sino-foreign cooperative school, as well as inter-school exchanges and visits between teachers and students.

    Fang Jie extended a warm welcome to Dr. Alan Walker and his delegation, and introduced the application progress of the School of Carbon Economy and Data Science between Frostburg State University and Hubei University of Economics, and shared the reform of the school's new finance and economics. She hoped that the two sides could consolidate the existing discipline construction foundation and teacher-student exchange platform with the goal of applying for Chinese-foreign cooperative schools, and actively carry out activities such as discipline construction, scientific research cooperation, and teacher-student exchange visits.

    Dr. Alan Walker expressed his gratitude for the warm reception of our school, and introduced Frostburg State University to carry out interdisciplinary construction and interdisciplinary personnel training, and rely on traditional disciplines to restructure and merge some professional colleges. He pointed out that the two universities have broad cooperation opportunities, and Frostburg State University will do its best to support the application of Chinese-foreign cooperative schools and promote exchanges and cooperation between the two universities.

    In the operation management talks, the project leaders of the relevant schools have a unified understanding of the design and planning, promotion and development prospects of specific projects promoting the exchanges and cooperation between the two schools at different levels and in different fields.

    After the meeting, Dr. Alan Walker and his delegation participated in Chinese traditional Intangible Heritage Cultural experience activities organized by the College of Art and Design, and went to the East Lake High-tech Development Zone for scientific innovation and cultural visit.
