On March 29, Australia Swinburne University of Technology Vice President David Coltman visited HBUE. Vice President He Huigang received the guests, and leaders from the International Exchange and Cooperation Department and the School of International Education attended.
He Huigang briefly introduced the basic situation of our school. He pointed out how to broaden their international vision. Improving the international competitiveness of students is one of the important goals of our school’s student cultivation. During the 13th five-Year, the school will have increased investment in student exchanges and cooperation in scientific research and education project cooperation. Cooperation on the basis of our school and Swinburne University of technology has been shared for 7 years. Sino foreign joint education program carried out smoothly, and hope to continue to deepen exchanges and cooperation of Swinburne University of Technology, promoting the common development of both schools.
David Coltman thanked for our school’s warm reception. He introduced Swinburne University of Technology from its development status, curriculum setting, teaching scale and advantages. He said Swinburne University of Technology attaches great importance to cooperating with our school, to deepen and broaden substantive exchanges with existing partners. He expects two schools to carry out exchanges and cooperation more fruitfully in teachers, students, scientific research etc.
During the talks, the two sides also discussed the 1+1+1 dual master cooperation project and 3+1+1 project master to discuss, and reached a preliminary consensus. After the meeting, David Coltman and his delegates visited the school library and participated in the Sino Australian cooperation program student meeting.
