On November 23rd, Hubei Ministry of Education announced the selection results of the construction of campus culture and excellent achievements in the construction of network culture of universities in Hubei, 2016. The project Drawing Animation Memory into the Brain and Heart, Cultivate and Practice Core Value---The Culture Education Practice of HBUE Animated Short Film “Six Minutes and Thirty Seconds”, won the first prize of Excellent Achievements of Campus Culture Construction. HBUE’s official Wechat was awarded “Top 10 Wechat Public Platforms” in Hubei universities and colleges. Yin Qingshan awarded “The Excellent Instructors”.
The project Drawing Animation Memory into the Brain and Heart, Cultivate and Practice Core Value---The Culture Education Practice of HBUE Animated Short Film “Six Minutes and Thirty Seconds”, discussed the ways of creation ideals in real life and animation into Chinese splendid traditional culture. Teachers and students teamed together to work, realizing the combination of cultivation and practice of the socialist core values and professional characteristics, students’ favorite animations, Chinese splendid traditional culture, and the objects of personnel training, teaching and research. Students and teachers constantly create forms of propaganda and communication vectors, which truly let the core values educational into the brain and heart, impress and impact the students.
HBUE’s Official Wechat is supervised and operated by the Party Committee Propaganda Department, to “tell the story, spread the voice, and shape the institute of HBUE” for the purpose of enriching the way of ideological and political education, and to construct the campus culture with our school’s features. The Official Wechat always works closely around the school center, close to teachers, students, and the campus life Wechat puts efforts in “focus on hot topics, in-depth report, public opinion guidance and services to teachers and students”. It also gives full play to propaganda, guidance and culture construction. It has become the important position of campus culture and information dissemination, and the vital window to demonstrate the soft power of our campus culture.
It is reported that Hubei Ministry of Education organized experts to review based on the declaration of Hubei universities and colleges. A total of 43 Excellent Achievements of Campus Culture Construction were selected, including 3 grand prizes, 10 first prizes, 12 second prizes and 18 third prizes. HBUE was recognized in 40 Excellent Achievements of Network Culture Construction: Top 10 Wechat Public Platforms, Top 10 Comprehensive Websites, Top 10 Special Websites and Top 10 Blogs/Weibo.
